named Edward Lucarini.
When Edward was a teenager,
he had an idol who lived
one block from his home.
That idol was–I kid you not–me!

Once for each of the ninety-eight times I walked two blocks
from home (137 Friendship Drive) to view a Rocky Point sunset
from the same vantage point as Edward had when he took this photograph.
