Poem From A Fence Post

i have a nose (albeit twisted)
and a mouth (half-hidden)
with dandruff on my forehead
 
but i have no eyes
and 
no upper-case letters

i need none of those things 
because
i  am only a fence post

the brick walk looks up to me

so does the grass
