I'm Not Gay But...

I did have an affair with Jack Daniels...
immediately after retiring from that thing 
known as teaching

And being eminently aware that
a New Year is being welcomed
on this night...

And my significant other 
is sound asleep...
into the outer world 
I did creep

With one double shot of Jack
and then a single shot

Because, at that point...
my $20 was spent

My consciousness was bent
with a moment of sin

And I am home again.
