and is beloved by 660 million fans!

| He hit his 85th home run in a game in which both Willie Mays and Jackie Robinson had two hits and two RBI's. The Brooklyn Dodgers defeated the New York Giants on that day and I probably cried myself to sleep. But if Willie Mays had hit six more home runs in his illustrious career (660 + 6), he might have been worshiped in a much darker church. Born in Alabama on May 6, 1931, all I really want to say is Happy Birthday, Willie Mays! |
