A Poem That Has The Same First Line As A Very Famous Poem

________________________________________________________________________________________________

the barefoot boy
jumped for joy
when he touched sand
life was grand

the dream within reach
found him at the beach

white waves of water
said,
Jump in, you oughta

and so he did
far down he dove
deep down
into a cove

where water's color was
one thousand shades of blue

lo and behold,
he found an old brown shoe

back on shore
the leather boot
fit perfectly
on his left foot

he made his neighbors
laugh and hoot
as he walked home
with one bare foot
