HOODA HELAMI Poem: Stained Glass Widows

________________________________________________________________________________________________

Stained glass widows
with tear-stained eyes
pass the test
as their beloved
is put to rest

Memories float
in their head
mourning the
recent dead

But when alive
they did arrive
across the land
hand-in-hand
full of glee

Head-held high
they filled the sky
with family

  1. This is an example of Poetry being created
by taking a well known phrase
and putting a spin on it.

    Hip Hip Hooray For HOODA
who made new language out of old language.
