Upon Contemplating Christopher Hitchins

________________________________________________________________________________________________

Tautology lurks
with/without perks
more like: per chance
do the  if-then  dance
Simple two-step or
four, six, or three
test your mental
choreography
Aim for descartes or
just fire a gun
begin with premise
end with conclusion
Conjoin concluded
thought with more thought
perfect partners
are perfectly taught
To be/ to not be
doo-wop do go
with yin-yang dip
step fast or step slow
If dogs can run free
then why should i–
enslaved by thought–
reach for the sky
Tautology lurks
with/without perks
more like: per chance
do the  if-then  dance
