To Not Know

I think
therefore I am
going to turn off the televsion

I think not.

It is the midnight light
for a body cocooned
on the couch

An HBO comedian has
a ballroom of people
laughing loudly

All I can do is yawn.

It is no fun to not  know
what is funny

But there is light in this room.
