WE WAKE TO BIRDSONG

For millennia uncountable
(except for the mathematician)
innocent of the language.
War in our midst, but a pretty sound
to our unGod revealed ears.

While corporations rip out
the God gifts from the soil,
because we know better.

WE ARE JEALOUS OF OUR PARTS
WE ARE JEALOUS IN OUR CUPS

If I were Peet's, I would say!
Hey!
Why are they in Starbucks?
What? They don't want
MY brew?
If I could have every bean
In a lump to love
Leaving entirety to have been
one big cup, a clump
of  their group
Peet's in the loop.

  1. Who's this Camilla Canard ripping off my poems?
Why is Mr hanging out with her?

If you tell me your first name,
I will gladly grant you authorship.

As for my acquaintance with "Camilia Canard,"
I don't even know how to spell the girl's first name.

      That is, I think it has 2 L's instead of 2 2 i's
but her two beautiful blue eyes got me distracted.

  2. Is "Camilla Canard" another an alter ego of Petunia Petard,
sister of the Hollywood mogulette, Paulette Petard?
