He hoped for all
the world to see
his marionette
named Rosary

 But his eyes:
they numbered one
his audience: none

Down from the wall
some knew him
as Paul

Most knew better
than to know him
at all

On a parking lot bet
she became his
marionette

Yet...

There is spiritual fun
with an audience
of none

    The teacher dances on the wall
    as those from medieval days did
    and taught the black-eyed Susans
    and Days eyes about Virgin Mary
    with Marionettes. So that She
    moves with them while they
    sway in the sun.
