The Anecdotal Age Of Teddy Legmund

________________________________________________________________________________________________

Teddy Legmund  should have died young,
leaving behind a pretty corpse
but his ego would not
allow that.

Then his heart, which had romanced him
through one hundred and one silk sheets,
sent up flares.

But now, another friend means another
lunch tab as long as Teddy  does all  the talking.
Every conversation is  an audience of one
and every fifth story is about
a pacemaker.
