Another Poem By Mrs. CarPeo

HIDDEN FRUIT

In a strange land
I feel not his hand
I see not his face
In this faraway place
All covered in felt
Even a belt! He sleeps
In a cocoon, a suit
For the moon, a natural
fur to inhibit pursuit
of his fruit.
