When There Are No Boxscores To Read, I Need Baseball History

________________________________________________________________________________________________

Some people,
when stressed,
go shopping
I am not one
of those people.

When I am stressed,
I read  about baseball.

But there are
no current boxscores
in the off-season.

When not stressed,
I still need to read
about baseball.

Anyone capable
of breathing
knows about
Jackie Robinson
but what appears
here expands
on his historical
significance.

The table lists the first
African-American to play
for each of the sixteen teams
in Major League Baseball before integration
was no longer noticeable on the ball field.

Footnotes
Four of the baseball players on this list
are in the Hall of Fame.

Minnie Minoso  should also be in the Hall of Fame.

The list came from  here.
