1957 Photographs By OTTO JENSEN With a Few Words by ME

What is
between the images
of the church
should not make you lurch
for moral damnation

A jackhammer with a bikini
is not obscene
if you know
what I mean

It is an invitation
cemented to sexual fantasy
not demented to pornography
but with a message
to all of us:
Everything serves a purpose

Every church
needs  aisle and pew
 altar and stained glass
of colorful hue

A jackhammer
is a common sight
on a construction site
Out of rock and stone,
it takes a bite

About this
you do not have to care
but we all need
swim wear
