A Slightly Tilted Quote From He Who Was Twain's Flyswatter

________________________________________________________________________________________________

AMBROSE BIERCE
Aesopus Emendatus

What is meant by "Twain's Flyswatter"
is the contention that
when Twain and Bierce
were both in London
and California gold-digger country,
Twain would show his writing
—pre-publication—
to Bierce and ask:
≈ Are there any bugs in this? ≈

I dare any literary authority
to disprove my contention
