If Literary Advice For Fiction Writers Were A Train Ride ...

________________________________________________________________________________________________

The first station would be
write what you know
then onward the train
will go

Other stops will have
much wisdom
to show
and make your words
glow

But the biggest sin
is to avoid
discipline

:::

Fret not the limits
of your knowledge
with or without
the institution
or college

There is still the tracks
to Grand Central Station
if you know best
your heart and
imagination

I am eternally grateful to
ThriftBooks.com
and my stimulus checks

I will have completed
Mr. King's book
On Writing
by Tuesday

Having read
and thoroughly enjoyed
a half dozen
of his novels,
I strongly doubt
I will ever read another

Re-reading Delores Clairborne
 notwithstanding

The hyperlink
might be prefaced
by an annoying
drop page
