A Spectral Pre-Incarnation From 1869

_______________________________________________________________________________________________

I will let you live
—more than 100 years hence—
as a donut-stuffing
cartoon character,
if you agree to
change your name to
HOMER
There is little debate
that THE SIMPSONS
is the funniest
—and most relevant—
animated TV series
in American history

about how its' writers
  are steeped in
Mathematics

I've read about
a half-dozen essays
on this subject
but sadly,
not one of them mentions
their most influential
Mathematician

That would be
from Oxford University

is from
Professor Dodgson's treatise
his poem entitled

But the professor
published the poem
under his pen name:
Lewis Carroll

He did so
in 1869,
five years after writing
Alice in Wonderland

  1. I see the uncanny resemblance to Homer Simpson's physique
    in the A.B. Frost illustration.
That validates your premise about "Professor Dodgson"
but somehow, your ending seems very abrupt.

    1. Yes it does and may be subject to change
but this page was two months in the making
with the image iconed on the desktop
as a reminder to post it

It sort of feels like I had to wash
my hands clean of the concept
