      The phrase was popularized by Eldridge Cleaver,
      black militant, in his opus Soul On Ice
      (1968)

    Cleaver did not regard black people as "Part of the Problem"
    but I'm not sure I would call the attendees "white people."
    They are a unique and goofy race of people created by
    Grandmaster GARY LARSON
