The one and only one thing
I have to say
is that Oliverio
needs to be sent
to Florida
Specifically,
to your psychoanalytic chum,
Dr. Raft
That good doctor
needs to put Paul
under lock and key
until the patient
learns to respect
the likes of me
and every other
living and breathing thing
on earth
Look at what Oliverio
did to me
who is nothing more
than a tree

I was very poorly photographed
with many speckles
(which humans call "many freckles")

Then I was bleached of color
(as if shades of black + white
(is what NATURE
(is all about)

Next, he rotated me ninety degrees
adding red and blue graffiti
text
He did this to create
an ink-blot type of effect
with a "profile" of
a drunken George Washington
on a coin composed of
grey sky

Resultingly,
I was inspired
to create this list
where the second entry
is very abusive
of parentheses

This tree
—also known as me—
has no trunk
which is the same thing
as humans having
no legs
7.

Oliverio's behavior
is nothing less than
inhumane
