Three 19th Century Romantic Poets Were Talking

The three poets were

the British triumvirate of

Shelley, Keats, and Lord Byron

met in the magnificent

magnanimous afterlife

 

They were talking

in the Grand Garden

   

Nearby,

 couples were dancing

to rock 'n roll music

 

"Lord Byron,"

said Shelley

(or was it Keats)

"What is it, Percy?"

(or was it John)

 

Whoever it was,

this is what they said:

 

In the 19th century,

if we had

guitar, bass and amps,

The Beatles 

would have been    

an afterthought.
