New York Riot Police On High Alert ... Without Hyperlinks

________________________________________________________________________________________________

My level of joy
and happiness
will be beyond measure
if the New York Knicks
defeat the Philadelphia 76ers
tonight
at
MADISON SQUARE GARDEN
but
that level of joy
will be equally beyond measure
for approximately
six million New York City
residents

LET US HOPE
any such celebration
is totally void
of incendiary behavior
or random gunfire

  1. My Grandfather's best friend in New York tells the story
of his adulterous affair when he secretly met his lover
at a bar on Northern Boulevard where quiet conversation
was impossible while the television was tuned into
Game 7 of the 1970 NBA Finals between
    the Knicks and the Lakers...

They went to another bar on the same legendary boulevard
but the environment was no different.

At bar #Three...it was mostly empty and that is where
the couple drank heavily before resorting to
his "Sin Bin" aka, a 1969 Ford Econoline Van.

But the drinking began after the couple realized
that they were in a Gay Bar... where the barkeep
most generously and quietly kept the adulterous friend
abreast of the basketball game... Which the Knicks won,
inspiring the adulterer to buy drinks for everyone...
    but only kissed his lover.

  2. Uhm. This is the first round of the playoffs. Hard to see any first round rounds being fired...

    1. I know it is the first round and I sincerely hope you are correct
BUT...this is New York City and it would mean
      the formerly lowly Knicks defeated
      a vastly superior 76ers team
