The Poetry Of MARILYN MONROE

________________________________________________________________________________________________

Life—
I am both your directions
Existing more with the cold frost
Strong as a cobweb in the wind
Hanging downward the most
Somehow remaining
those beaded rays have the colors
I've seen the paintings—ah life

  1. Strong as a cobweb in the wind
is a line that only someone with
a true poetic spirit could write.

    1. I fully concur with your comment
and feel a compelling need to note
      this poem was reproduced exactly
as Marilyn had written it with exactly
two lines beginning in lower case
