I am a retired librarian who can't help but remember
ReplyDeleteyour loud mouth on a Long Beach coffee house patio
talking about the Library next door to a Strip Club
which happens to be the "1623 Ivar Avenue" library
in Hollywood.
I worked there for four years and our head librarian
insisted we used capital letters when referring to
the strip club.
ALSO, I am not a fan of Mickey Spillane
and despise anyone who mentions his name
in the same sentence with DASHIELL HAMMETT.
Honestly, I do not think God
Deletewants His name mentioned in the same sentence
with DASHIELL HAMMETT
who was not just an extraordinary writer
but he was also an inventor
whose mental laboratory created
the crime fiction genre
