October 3, 2001: an American Airlines flight from Los Angeles to New York had a passenger named Paul Oliverio and a music channel for BOZ SCAGGS.
Exactly twenty-two days after 9/11, I flew 3000 miles to attend a class reunion and my nerves were on end the entire flight.
The same thing was probably true for all other passengers BUT Oliverio buried his ears in Out Of The Blues and I buried my tongue in Airline shots of Scotch
Outwardly, my behavior appeared normal but inwardly...any fear of a 9/11 sequel was dead meat
HOWEVER, Upon landing at JFK Airport I led a rousing ovation for the flight crew
