The quote is from the song GYPSY which Shakira sings in English and it never ceases to surprise me how many Latinos do not know that "Shakes" is half-Lebanese.
For reasons I feel no obligation to explain, I mostly listen to music in reverse alphabetical order [by artist] and GYPSY followed immediately after a dozen songs by the Shangri-Las, a female singing group on par with the Ronettes and only a tiny notch below The Shirelles
My answer may not be satisfactory BUT I cannot rank them on that list because Diana Ross and the Supremes were more A FORCE OF NATURE than a singing group, after I fell in love with the lead singer.
When they would sing on The Ed Sullivan Show no other Oliverios were allowed to speak during the performance.
My two sisters, however, would do goofy dances to distract my attention from the TV set but it always failed to do so
