if someone
articulate +
knowledgeable
about college sports
was told
"Indiana won
the national football title"
The response would be
"Obviously you've
got your sports confused"
BUT
the truth is
An entire team
did all that was necessary
for that championship
but three people
were primarily responsible

College football has a version of WINDOW SHOPPING:
ReplyDeleteplayers no longer commit to a single school for four years.
At end of each season, they may transfer to another school
which selected them from a showcase [aka highlight reel]
for all interested football schools to select
