  1. I am a Long Beach reference librarian who is indebted to Blog-o-verio
for introducing me to the literary wonderland of DAWN POWELL.

Uninsultingly, he called her a "creep" for her amazing ability
to creep into the psyche of her characters in a deeper, darker,
and humorous depth much more than classic
American authors such as Philip Roth, Saul Bellow
    and Flannery O'Conner.

    1. And I am eternally grateful simply for the existence
of the Long Beach Public Library
