This boy in blue
with mud clot in hand
Thought he was playing in the sand
With green lights behind him
and clear sky overhead

The boy's name is Lamar and he was last seen in Long Beach in 2006.
His prize possession was a notebook full of rap lyrics
and some genuinely interesting poetry.
I sincerely hope that someday he performs a rap version
of this song if and only if he acknowledges John Lennon.
Maybe Lamar has already done so.
