Imagine A Story About HOMER SIMPSON Without Donuts!

________________________________________________________________________________________________

You wouldn't have to imagine anything
if you read a 1937 Nathanael West novel
featuring a character named Homer Simpson
and inspiring  Matt Groenig  to use
that same name  many years later.

The two Homer Simpsons have as much in common
as the horse chestnut and the chestnut horse.
