There were no
other humans
nor any human
footprints on
the short jetty
adjacent to
the historic
CATALINA
CASINO.
I did not walk to the jetty's endpoint
so as not to disturb its feathered residents.
From the other end of the jetty,
I shot what millions before

with a landmark
battleship anchor
in the foreground.
However,
if you searched
websites for images
of Catalina Island,
you would be hard-
pressed to find close-up
images of "Guano Jetty"
but I am a proud card-carrying Jetty-holic!
