When There Are No Boxscores To Read, I Need Baseball History

Some people,              
when stressed, 
go shopping
I am not one 
of those people.

When I am stressed, 
I read  about baseball.

But there are 
no current boxscores
in the off-season.

When not stressed,
I still need to read
about baseball.

Anyone capable 
of breathing
knows about
Jackie Robinson
but what appears 
here expands
on his historical
significance.

The table lists the first 
African-American to play 
for each of the sixteen teams
in Major League Baseball before integration 
was no longer noticeable on the ball field.
