Sometimes, Her Name Is Sheila

The pay phone rings
and everyone knows
it is for her

Twenty minutes later,
she gets into
a man's car
 
Driven around the block,
it parks 
in the alley

An hour later,
she has fifty dollars
in her pocket

Then the feast begins:
most of the money
is spent
at Pizza Hut

The rest is spent
on beer

The pay phone
will ring again
sometime after
midnight
