waylaid

open the gate
to back alley
abortions
and all 
life's distortions
found there

Roe, Roe, Roe
—not your boat—
but your fetus
and meet us
under the sign
that shines
at midnight
with plenty
cash in 
your pocket
—don't knock it—
you may die
in the process
to abort
thanks to the 
darkness in mid-day
at the 
Supreme Court
