He hoped for all
the world to see
his marionette
named Rosary

 But his eyes:
they numbered one
his audience: none

Down from the wall
some knew him
as Paul

Most knew better
than to know him
at all

On a parking lot bet
she became his
marionette

Yet...

There is spiritual fun
with an audience
of none

    and taught the black-eyed Susans
    and Days eyes about Virgin Mary
    with Marionettes. So that She
    moves with them while they
    sway in the sun.
