BUT
it is not 100 percent true
BECAUSE
of the night 
a comedic non-entity
was allowed on stage
 
His routine was so horrid,
you could have heard
a pin drop
 
The non-entity
was allowed on stage 
because 
Rodney's business partner
had a grandmother
who was 
my Grandmother's sister
 
Anthony 
allowed me on stage
only because
the "first love" of his life
—Grace Anastasio—
was his cousin
and the future Mother 
of 
this Frankenstein Monster

    is never to be known other than to guarantee me
    that my distant cousin was no stranger
