with a well-deserved

global following

 

The band leader is

Randall Willis

 

He had been

the music teacher

at Jefferson

AND

the music director

for "donut concerts"

staged by yours truly

 

Randall + two of his students

performed in 

some of those concerts

 

My hand is included in

the photo above

to show how desperate

I am to hear from

my friend 

and colleague

There is a new building

under construction 

in the middle

of the campus

I will only say

the following

about it:

 

The last time

I was there,

a Latino security guard

—with very limited English—

spoke one word perfectly

in English 

when he pointed out

this building and said

"Boondoggle"
