It began as the GODFATHER OF MATH, evolved into the GOODFATHER OF MATH. Now this. Go figure...

The kind of humor I like is the thing that makes me laugh for five seconds and think for ten minutes = G. CARLIN...Stain glass, engraved glass, frosted glass
–give me plain glass = JOHN FOWLES ... Music is the mathematics of the gods=PYTHAGORAS ... Nothing is more fluid than language = R. L. SWIHART
I cannot live without the oxygen of laughter = DAWN POWELL ... !!! ... But laughter cannot survive without the hydrogen of gravitas = PAUL OLIVERIO

This Is Ida Blankenship And This is Also Ida

________________________________________________________________________________________________

I believe  Ida Blankenship's
claim to fame on  MAD MEN
was the distinction of being
the only secretary to die
at her desk.

This is what she looked like
before she died.

Randee Heller
One hell of an actress!
This is what Ida looked like before
the wiggery and make-up staff
of  MAD MEN  got her ready
for the camera.

Presently, it is 6:46PM PST.
The final episode of the final season
of one of the finest shows ever
 to appear  on television
 is about to air.

If and when I grow up,
I want to be Don Draper
but then I would change
my name to  Nellie Fox.

The next MAD MEN page is  here.

  1. There is still one hour to go before the final episode
of MAD MEN goes on the air.

    Here is my prediction:
Don Draper returns to New York City
but he does not return to Sterling Copper.
Instead, he takes a job at MAD Magazine!

    1. instead of Presidential portraits on the bills,
the MAD money featured Alfred E. Neumann
      in various disguises.
