The Hafnotts + The Ayntgotts + The Rose Bush Looking Glass

The  Hafnott family
and the Ayntgott family
each with cans of pork and beans
were picknicking
in the park

A row of rosebushes
separated the families

The Hafnotts
looked at the Ayntgotts
and vice versa

Mr. Hafnott said
"You are no different from us"

Mr. Ayntgott said
"You is the same as us"

Mrs. Hafnott said
"The only difference..."

"...is some silly syllables"
replied Mrs. Ayntgott

Then the  families
gathered their resources together,
sitting at a table
in the middle of the rose bushes

After eating,
their children played games
in the park
while the parents
sat and talked and laughed
until the sun went down
