It began as the GODFATHER OF MATH, evolved into the GOODFATHER OF MATH. Now this. Go figure...

The Seaside Seaweed Choir

________________________________________________________________________________________________

The conductor's baton is at rest
and the white squares of paper
are not litter.
They are script notes
for the lyrics:

Our voice is tried and true.
You can see us
and if we had eyes,
we could see you

  1. Reminds me of a children's song we used to sing
at Dawn Lake in Gilead, Ohio.
See the seaweed by the shore,
    right under our nose.
But if we were on our knees,
    we'd see more.

    1. I like that song partly because it exemplifies
something I learned seventy years ago
on the north shore of Long Island:
Seaweed is one of the most
pun-worthy words in the English language
