      2. My favorite story from this biography involves
      President Ronald Reagan's Inaugural Dinner:
      Mr. Palmer was virtually the only black person
      in the dining room while speeches were given in the next room.
      The tables were teeming with luxurious hors d'oeuvres
      but Earl was leery of suspicious looks he was getting...
      BUT... A tiny little girl enters the room running
      and screaaming Uncle Earl, Uncle Earl....
      It was Patty Boone, whose father sang
      "Good Golly Miss Molly" for the gathering
      with Mr. Palmer on drums.
