I did it for a very selfish reason: The photograph was taken at the Bob's Big Boy on Riverside Drive in Burbank and the "imperfection" is a reminder of an ancient 5AM jog including Bob's while a film crew was shooting a scene from HEAT.
Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino were seated at a table while my footsteps appeared in the background.
Naturally, they were edited out of the movie.
JUST FOR THE RECORD: Bob's has a plaque in its restaurant to commemorate the moment but they placed it on a square table when the actual shoot involved an upholstered booth
Why did you include the grey strip at the top of the image?
