It began as the GODFATHER OF MATH, evolved into the GOODFATHER OF MATH. Now this. Go figure...

Actual Truth + Artificial Dissemination Of Information

________________________________________________________________________________________________

The Artificial People
remind us that
the highlighted phrase
is witty
then
give an
"interesting definition"
of the quote

********
******************
********

graduated from
Hofstra University
in 1971
with a Degree
in Dramatic Arts

But
his friend
—me—
needed a 9th semester
at
Stonybrook University
to get his
Math Degree

Jack
was impressed to have
$30
in his pocket
as if his graduation gift
was a miniature
goldmine

Before departing
for the Bursar's Office
to register
for my final semester,
I said to Jack:
Judas Iscariot
had a $30
reward
_______
___

While waiting for me,
Jack wrote a song
about Mr. Iscariot

It contained the verses
Just because
he Walked on water
doesn't mean
that he can swim
 +

He sent you to
the delicatessen
to get
all the loaves and fishes,
He took all the credit,
left you the dirty dishes

UNFORTUNATELY,
Jack was a fall-down
Irish drunk
in 1971

All the videos
posted of his music
on these pages
were made
after thirty years
of absolute sobriety
for
Jack + Mary McCarthy
 and
Jack
refuses to associate
with any songs
he wrote
prior to recovery
 _______________
 _______________

In 1974,
spent $30,000
to build
a recording studio
in his basement
with the primary purpose
being
to record Jack
and may/may not have
a copy
of
"Hey Judas"

Otherwise,
the song will never
be heard again

Yet
it behooves to mention
that I had a groupie
at a mid-town
folk club
["FOCUS"]
after Jack mistakenly
credited me
for writing the song
when all I did
was inspire him
to write it
and I'll be godammed
if I could remember
the groupie's name
!!!
