It began as the GODFATHER OF MATH, evolved into the GOODFATHER OF MATH. Now this. Go figure...

The kind of humor I like is the thing that makes me laugh for five seconds and think for ten minutes = G. CARLIN...Stain glass, engraved glass, frosted glass
–give me plain glass = JOHN FOWLES ... Music is the mathematics of the gods=PYTHAGORAS ... Nothing is more fluid than language = R. L. SWIHART
I cannot live without the oxygen of laughter = DAWN POWELL ... !!! ... But laughter cannot survive without the hydrogen of gravitas = PAUL OLIVERIO

What Makes A Nephew ... Special

_______________________________________________________________________________________________

If a nephew
flies 5000 miles
then
drives 500 miles
to enable a
Priest and his sister
 to stand in front
of the home
their brother purchased
forty years before
this picture
was taken,
the nephew
can be considered
"special"

The
aforementioned
brother
is my father
and the priest
is
Father Frank
with his sister,
my beloved
Aunt Esther
+
the nephew is
me

The special gift
I received
was first access to
Father Frank's
will

In which
it was clearly stated
that
"everything"
was
to be shared by
his nieces
and nephews

≈ [There was ten of us] ≈

Father Frank died
in 2012

The executors
of the will
were Aunt Esther
and her eldest daughter

The latter
mistakenly interpreted
"Executor"
to mean
  "Beneficiary"
thus
    her and her sister
—after Esther's death—
inherited everything
including
the sale price
of the former home
of my
paternal grandparents

In  2026,
that home is valued at
$1.2 million dollars
presently valued
at

  😕😕😕

_____________

Everything stated above
is factual
but
it behooves me
to add two things:

1.
The photograph
was taken
200 yards from
the beatific
North Shore Beach
of Rocky Point

 2.
Thankfully,
none of the Oliverio
nieces/nephews
are living at
poverty level
but
only one of us
can afford to live
at a yacht club
