ensnarled

Manhattan
or

boroughs

Nor would I travel to New York to visit
ReplyDeletefriends or family...only to discover my same-age friends
all look thirty years older than me.
Every week I speak to an Aunt who sounds like
a fifty year-old sexpot but is actually
99 years old.
NO ... I do not want to be anywhere east
of Texas or Oklahoma but remove me
from Long Beach and I start to shiver
