The Founding Fathers
meant well
when the Constitution
formed a triumvirate:
Three Branches of Government
to create, enforce and interpret
THE LAW
with
CHECKS AND BALANCES
to guarantee that no branch
of government run amuck
And we lived by the mantra:
INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
The Founding Fathers,
neglected
THE FOURTH BRANCH
OF GOVERNMENT
which is
The court of public opinion
which states
that if someone cries
ME, TOO
and points a finger at you
...
that is sufficient to
establish your guilt
and end your career
regardless of how long and accomplished
that career may be
...
Maybe this ME-TOO miasma
would never have happened
if
instead of Founding Fathers
there were
Founding Fathers and Mothers
