My Metric Sonnet ... ABCD ... EFGD ... HIJD ... JKLD ... MD

Smokestack faces
fill the sky
with one eye
facing east

Backdoor ravens
flap their wings
with a message
that never ceased

Lean-to ladies
shake their hips
holding court
for the feast

Ding-dong do-gooders
never know
which ones
need them least

But that's not true 
for the presiding priest
