Bottom Feeders' Holiday

Bottom feeders look down
from the top
of the mountain
with delight
dancing with
the stars
at midnight

Top feeders look up
rattling a tin cup
with sorrow
but the cup
will be gold
tomorrow

Somewhere
a dog is barking
at the moon
