Two weeks into my California residency, I was in the audience of a MIKE DOUGLAS Show when a bouncy, effervescent guest was introduced: it was Richard Simmons. the year was 1981 and we subsequently exchanged greetings in the Sunset Boulevard TOWER RECORDS parking lot.
None of the other names mentioned require introduction.
