Are you
(or do you know)
a math student
in need of a graduate thesis
???
What is featured below
is the introductory page
to a complete thesis
that needs to be re-written
entirely in technical language
suitable for publication
In the summer of 1989
the original idea
—in embryonic form—
was presented to
a professor at CalTech
in Pasadena
It was a "chalk talk"
in his office
where I did almost all
of the talking
and he did
almost all
of the listening
Unfortunately,
his thick French accent
and enthusiastic response
inspired my paranoia
to cut short the presentation
and promise to return
the following week
I never intended to do so
and have grown to regret
that decision
I wrote five drafts
of the paper before
completing it in 2006
and reducing it from
twelve to five pages
By then,
distinguished mathematicians
From UCLA, USC,
Ohio State and
the University of South Carolina
determined my research
was completely original
and authentic
But I stupidly never submitted
the paper for publication
in a math journal
because it still needs "keyboarding"
available only to people
on the highest level
of mathematics
All I need is someone
well-versed
in the most esoteric language
of math research
involving
"Elementary Number Theory"
and in need of a thesis subject
Traditionally,
Elementary Number Theory
is studied only after
two full years
of calculus
