is that his two surviving
"children" 
shared one dozen texts 
this morning
 
Mostly we talked about
the 3.5 most boring hours
in television history
[the 2024 Oscars]
and my second favorite SAM
who inspired me 
for 20 years
at Jefferson High School

      By being the teacher who inspired me to hustle donuts
      to raise enough money to stage a wide variety of concerts
      on campus... and make 20,002 friends in the process.

      One friend for each of the donuts sold.

      The concerts included jazz, blues, salsa,
      rock 'n roll, and doo wop
